Everything in society is a competition. I've never liked it. Even as a kid, I opted out from competing because it didn't feel like a smart system.I'm fine with not having a job so that someone else will get the job that they actually want and need. If I have a job, someone else doesn't. Humans just don't understand that the fair tradeoff is that they need to give me a portion of their paycheck in return. Instead, once they land the job, they start thinking they're entitled to all of the money. "This is mine, my precious! Rreee!"They also don't understand that the number of job openings is limited in the first place, making it a zero sum game.I'll never get a girlfriend in this life. I'd lose the competition anyway so why compete? But I can always find comfort in the fact that someone else will get a gf because I didn't.
