I will never forget the short time I spent on that website in the months prior to the 2024 elections. The entire website, every popular sub, had been mobilized into one giant propaganda trough, and these "people", like thoughtless swine, were just gobbling it up. It was immensely satisfying to see Trump win. Not because I like Trump, but because it would have caused me psychological damage to see a people so blind and so clueless as the Reddit userbase vindicated in their stupidity. I want to believe that it was a wake-up call to them, that they seriously stopped and thought about the rosy reality they were subscribed too, but I know better.
