>im not like those other zoomers>I was born in 1999 the 90s were awesome!>I love windows vista Why are zoomers the only generation that just want to be other generations
>>83290052They don't really have anything notable and their heyday of culture kind of sucked to be honest. What do they have to really be nostalgic for? Fortnite and Mr Beast?
>>83290052>1999Unironically literally meBut i am nothing like the people around me, sometimes i wish i was a normie and then i remind myself its better to be a lone wolf than to live like a sheep>>83290071You needed to be there to get it
>>83290071>Fortnite and Mr BeastAlmost feel bad for them, almost
>>83290052>Genxers create great art millennials can enjoy>Millennials create gay tranny slop in turn>Surprised people enjoy tony hawk 2 and britney spears
>another coping aging fat balding basedllennial rent free thread about zoomers # 523234234Get better material.
>>83290082>You needed to be there to get itYeah but you can say that for every generation during their prime time. I mean everyone sort of remembers their younger years fondly. But even from my outsiders view it seems like they are trying to glom on to other generations cultures because they are ashamed of their own.>>83290095Its better than the average coomer thread we put up with. But thanks for commenting and keeping the thread alive.>>83290092>Millennials create gay tranny slopIf you mean for example things like undertale and what have you. Even as gay as stuff like that is people still seem to for the most part enjoy it. I however cannot for the life of me think of anything zoomers have made or contributed that was of any worth. Some of them have funny social media accounts but not a lot of them actually create anything to give to humanity. Which is understandable considering they are still sort of young as a demographic but even still the ones in the world doing things ain't doing much. What do they have? Billie Eilish? She certainly fits that glassy eyed vacant zoomer stare that's so popular with that generation. Come to think of it the "zoomer stare" is about the only unique thing about them other than a crippling smart phone addiction.
>>83290157>because they are ashamed of their own.Yeah, the 99 generation has no culture outright desu, you needed to be part of some specific group to have a culture. Its complicated because the internet threw everything into total fucking chaos
>>83290157>DeflectionMillennials cant make art, spiritual boomers. Kids grow up with shit because of it. Sad.
>>83290177Yeah. To be quite frank with you though, and forgive me for indulging myself in a doomer rant. I don't think much of this generational difference stuff is going to matter in a few more decades. It seems to me that everything is going wrong in the world and resource scarcity and the other various issues going on are going to push the world into a state of collapse in the not too distant future where everyone undergoes a drastic reduction in standard of living. Like it get this feeling that someday we are all going to be looking back at right now as the last gasp of a dying era of leisure and prosperity before things really went to shit.Like what if all of our petty fights are just pointless in the grand scheme of things? Like jets vs sharks in a dumb old stage play where we performative dance at each other while in the background the stage itself is on fire and there is no exit. I don't know, I guess the only thing you really can do is just enjoy the here and now until its gone and replaced with something worse. I'm just glad we can still indulge in old games and music and movies before things go completely to hell.
>literally every millennial, boomer, Xer: dude the 90's was like the best time in human history! everything after the 00's sucks!>erm... WHY do you little zoomies wish you were born earlier?
>>83290195Yeah that's about the depth and length of response I'd expect from your kind. You probably aren't used to writing out long form responses other than copy pasting whatever your preferred A.I. spits out when you cheat on your homework.
>>83290071>Fortnite and Mr Beastthat's gen alpha, not zoomers. we have plenty to be nostalgic about
I grew up with older millennial brothers and got all their hand-me-downs and we were a poor family for the most part so a lot of the old 90s movies we owned they showed to me. I'm an 03 zoomer and I can say I don't regret my childhood. Also Mr Beast and Fortnite is a younger zoomer/gen alpha thing. It is what it is though, this generation shit flinging stuff is so boring and only entertains tribalistic retards
>>83290256>tfw googled it and the youngest zoomers are born in 2012nevermind, sucks for them
>>83290240Yeah that's about the depth and length of response you'd expect from my kind. I'm probably not used to writing out long form responses other than copy pasting whatever my preferred A.I. spits out when I cheat on my homework.
>>83290256those are both gen z though
>>83290256You wouldn't mind listing a few for the sake of driving the conversation forward would you? If I have mischaracterized them I would like some examples of their actual culture so I can better understand them.
>>83290267Cod MW2 and peak Xbox 360 live (for clarification, the original MW2). It kinda depends on if you grew up in a poor region, I recall regularly visiting one of the last video stores left in our area when I was around like 5. mid-late 2000s and early 2010s Youtube. Just to name a few, there's some more but I don't wanna rant
>>83290264Your verbal jujitsu no doubt made you king of the third grade when you hit em with the old, change two words of what they said and repeat it back tactic. I am literally crying and shitting myself right now for ever having dared challenge a master of wordplay like you.
>>83290266no, gen z stops at d/o/b 2012. past that is alpha>>83290267i was thinking of the older zoomers. i'm a '97 and>flip phones and sliding phones>ipod classic, nano, shuffle>game boy advance and nintendo ds>thick desktop pcs, windows xp, msn and aim>burned cds and limewire>youtube when it was just wholesome skits and music videosheaps more
>>83290284>Cod MW2Zoomers were playing that when they were at most 12 years old? I mean if you say so but I kinda think you might be getting your generations mixed up. But then again parents by their kids all sorts of games that are supposed to be age restricted so maybe there is some truth to that. Go ahead and name more stuff, ranting is all we really have to do around here.
>>83290293My verbal jujitsu made me king of the third grade when I hit them with the old, change two words of what they said and repeat it back tactic. You are literally crying and shitting yourself right now for ever having dared challenge a master of wordplay like me.*Looks at you*
>>83290302i mean it's gen z in that gen z popularized them
>>83290310>Zoomers were playing that when they were at most 12 years old?I'm not sure if you've ever played any multiplayer games, but little kids playing mature video games when they're not supposed to is like a tale almost as old as gaming itself. They're universally called squeakers because of their voices.
>>83290329There weren't really all that many little kids playing multiplayer games when I was still into that sort of thing. Makes me kind of grateful I missed out on that really. Little kids are annoying. I can't imagine having to deal with them in video games.
>Why are zoomers the only generation that just want to be other generationsWrong. It was a meme for millennials into dadrock to say they were born in the wrong generation and for hipsters to roast them for this.
>>83290052>why do non-wiggers dislike being called wiggers?
>>83290052Millenials, older millenials anyways were the last generation to have grown up offline.Even if you were one of the earlier adopters of the internet in the 90s, the internet was still just this fun little curiosity that only existed at the living room computer and maybe the library and computer lab at school. It didn't exist in everyone's pocket and didn't dictate global culture or political change. That was all dictated by the TV, radio, and newspapers of course, for better or for worse.Older millenials can say shit like they used to go to concerts back when people actually danced and moshed, they could flash their tits or even have sex in public and not lose their job. A kid could shit his pants in school and cry and it would really only happen for whoever was in class and not for the entire world to see after someone films it. Someone could get drunk and say all sorts of racist sexist misogynist stuff and not lose their job over it. Watching TV shows when they aired was a huge deal and weekly ritual, you'd never know when they would air again or even at all. When your parents went out, or when you left school and went home or something it was as if everyone and the world just stopped existing - you could just get on a bus or ride your bike and be completely inaccessible to your annoying friends or co-workers or whoever. If Zoomers try to seem cool and older now as they reach 30 they can't even say much about how life was different for them when they were Gen A's age.Instead of watching tik toks, they watched vines. They still grew up online playing video games and watching streamers & youtubers same as gen A.
Gee why would a generation that's had the tiktok mind virus imposed on them by both other zoomers and their grandparents find it necessary to say "I don't like that shit"?
>>83290310Bro is going to pretend that it wasn't well known that 80% of any given cod lobby was under the age of 16
>>83290718There's a difference between being part of whatever boomer heavy metal and dad rock or old punk rock subcultures, and actively trying to convince people that you're somehow 10-15 years older than you really are.Teens in the turn of the millennium were happy to be teens in the new millennium, even if they listened to rock from the 60s or 70s or 80s. No one in 2003 born in 85 would be like "uhhh yeah I'm actually a child of the 80s? I remember shitting in my diapers when the news about Chernobyl hit, and when the news about the fall of the USSR happened that shook up my afternoon POGS session with the boys. We still had vinyl records in our house so somehow that means I'm like 15 years older than I actually am."
>>83290256>>Fortnite and Mr Beast>that's gen alpha,I can't really speak about which type of children are watching Mr Beast, but fuckin Fortnite has been around for almost 10 years now.Remember those WE LOVE FORTNITE WE LOVE FORTNITE kids? they probably post here now.
99 is still Millennial.inb4 a self-hating Millenial posts some incorrect graph
>>83290327>>83291306true, i forgot fortnite isn't that new. 8 years went by too fucking fast
>>83291329>how do you do fellow Millenials? Those zoomer babies will never know what it was like to grow up on XBox and iPads and watching epic LMFAO videos on youtube before mom got home.
