how can I forget that no woman will ever see me as anything other than a spare tire? Knowing that all the effort I've put into getting a woman is worth less than what she'll offer to someone else in a second without them having to ask or make any effort? Knowing that the more secure the relationship is for her, the harder it will be to have sex, even though, paradoxically, she will never have been less desirable?

How can I forget that absolutely everything about a woman will be predictable? That there is no room for surprise or unpredictability in her way of thinking? That I will have to pay an incredibly high price for a woman who will never be a moral or financial support for me? A woman who will also be worn down by life and her experiences, with no magic or femininity left in her eyes?
When you haven't experienced love as a young adult or teenager, it's no longer possible to have illusions about it; it's bound to die in the indifference and contempt of everyone. When I really come to terms with my situation, I'm going to cry for not having known love when I was younger. Once you've missed it, nothing can save you, not even the impossible.

You're supposed to do it for yourself. All women are whores and all men are your enemy.
