Pretty good, slept well last night and had a midday nap so I'm all caught up on sleep. I ended up waking at 4AM initially but I got some work done before sleeping again.

Completing my last lab of the course and working on writing homework.

November of last year.

Frustration with my lack of direction.

Outside the usual no. I don't see my failure in this course as inevitable now. How are you doing?

I got a bit further into csm part 2. I think I saw the part with some criticism and really don't think it was as bad as people made out to me. though I am deeply emotionally hurt now
Probably check out Fire Punch soon since I'm basically almost caught up on csm now

yeah, for me it's been the biggest issue getting up middle of night with how cold I'm letting it get
>Which part?
the whole Denji doesn't have character development. I think we talked before, obviously he's just a kid, but even excluding that it wasn't that bad. I thought they did a good job of him being conflicted and having priorities other than just chasing girls
>How come?
I was being dramatic, but caught off guard by what Fujimoto did to Nayuta. Part 1 was such a bloodbath, so not hugely surprising, but feel like she got done as dirty as what he did to Beam in part 1.

hey cynic! :D

>It almost makes me want to sell my stuff for profit.
sad, but reasonable. seems i got lucky when i bought mine.

>It's been a while before a built a pc. What kind of built did you make?
honestly, none. just bought a pre-build one, but i asked a friend who does some streaming and knows a bit more about pcs and he suggested the one i got. it was a sale around gamescom and apparently i'd be paying a few hundred bucks more for something comparable now. i don't think the site is still up and i have to admit that i still don't really know what i got here. it works and that's all i really care about. the reason i stayed away from pc gaming for so long was that i really didn't want to educate myself in that regard. what pushed me over the edge was how bad of an offer the consoles have become.

>I think I'll be talking him into a more creature like anime girl.
any character that it'll be based on or something completely original?

>Interesting. Maybe it'll keep me away from invading mesopotamia.
at least for a few hours. ^^ guess i have to thank the youtube algorythm for that one.

>how was your day?
rough. christmas season business is really picking up and it's getting absolutely insane. luckily a coworker stayed a bit longer today so it didn't end in a complete catastrophe. what about yours?

>>83297428
>ooa it looks cool and it was made in gzdoom :0
thought so, too. lucky youtube recommended and i remembered it. ^^ what's gzdoom, though? and how are you? any plans for tonight?
>>
>>83297596
>how are you?
tired from a stressful day, but finally at home, playing some wow and watching the pc gaming show. not much interesting stuff shown so far, though. not that i was expecting it.

>looking forward to tomorrow and the weekend. Just feel drained today.
i can relate. i'm lucky i don't have work tomorrow, so basically a long weekend. sadly my it's only my boss and my not-so-great coworkers tomorrow and on saturday, so i can expect monday to be a total shitshow. guess that's an issue for future-yuanon.

>Lots up and downs, but nothing too bad. Just tiresome
glad it's nothing serious, but you can always complain a bit more if you feel like it.

>Even have a tree this time!
if that isn't christmas-spirit, i don't know what is. ^^ won't it be completely dried out on christmas, though?

>>83297767
> not that i was expecting it.
i remember waiting for these when I was a kid excited and now it doesn't even occur to me when these are happening
> guess that's an issue for future-yuanon
only way you can get a break sometimes is throwing up your hands and say lets worry later i suppose
>can always complain a bit more if you feel like it.
all good. Just mountains of work piling with no end (or backup) in sight.
>if that isn't christmas-spirit,
i'm even going to one of those giant lights displays with my gf at night over the weekend, so going to hopefully not freeze to death
>won't it be completely dried out on christmas, though?
I should said have said I got a "fake tree" this time. Where I live, I don't think anyone does since it's not as practical as up north. Honestly, have no idea where you would get one...

Oh god, I remember working hoildays and being saved only by seasonal help. Everyone was struggling. I'm glad my last boss is stuck with it now. All my friends either quit or got fired, so they all screwed I imagine.
>what about yours?
just listening to star wars: Darth Bane and studying.
>>
>>83298057
>i remember waiting for these when I was a kid excited and now it doesn't even occur to me when these are happening
i think that's because back then they were centered around a big event like e3 and everyone got together to celebrate video games for a week. now all the devs and publishers just make a stream whenever they feel like it and nobody really cares. doesn't help that most of the games they show aren't exciting at all and target audiences that don't exist.

>throwing up your hands and say lets worry later i suppose
true, but i also don't work for basically free like one of my coworkers does, so if i'm not getting paid, i don't show up. :p

>Just mountains of work piling with no end (or backup) in sight.
don't like the way they treat you, but i guess they know how far they can take it. :/ at least it's nearly the weekend. stay strong.

>i'm even going to one of those giant lights displays with my gf at night over the weekend, so going to hopefully not freeze to death
sounds like a comfy night. maybe take something warm to drink with you?

>I got a "fake tree" this time.
fair. they do look pretty good these days.

>Where I live, I don't think anyone does since it's not as practical as up north. Honestly, have no idea where you would get one...
understandable, but it's one of those things my mom would never compromise on. she'd find a christmas tree in the desert if she had to. but they're not that hard to get here anyway. it has to be one that's up to her standards though, so we're back to basically being in a desert looking for a christmas tree. she asked one of the custodians of the resort we're going to to get one when we first went there 20 years ago and the guy still remembers how angry she was with the one he provided... ^^'

yeah, that could be cool. hope it'll come out the way you want it. do you have a specific artwork in mind or will your artist come up with a design himself?

>I do not understand why people buy xboxs and playstations.
ease of use. for most people convenience is king and being able to just plug it into your tv is a huge advantage for many people. that said, the golden age of consoles and great console exclusives is way gone. now they're just milking the remaining playerbase that hasn't realized it yet. also one of the bigger issues for me was that i always felt like being ripped off since i don't have a clue about modern pcs, so i was hesitant to get back into it.

>I'm glad my last boss is stuck with it now. All my friends either quit or got fired, so they all screwed I imagine.

I'm excited insofar as in I get to finally leave. College sucked. In terms of what comes after graduation, (months of job hunting and paying back student loans) I'm dreading that currently.

a fine choice. Really making me want to go back to play it. Only levels I think I don't think I care for at all are the crappy ones near the end like the magic carpet ride or clock world. It's sad they got kinda half assed right at the end, rest of the game is great.

>>83299162

yeah that for sure helps stay warm in bed, problem is needing to get up for anything. Even walking down the hall to the bathroom I don't want to do to even if needed since it's so damn cold
>continuing to devolve without any resistance.
definitely gone a little, but maybe I haven't hit the worst point. Honestly though, how hard he keeps getting beaten down it's kinda understandable. Once again his whole family dies, even the dogs and cat
>the public safety fight that came out of it was cool
that whole arc was pretty cool and enjoyed and I found Barem to be a good antagonist who's enjoyable(even if in the man I want this guy to die kinda way)

that's true, but i like to just put on reaction-streams of people who hate all the stuff i do too, so at least someone tells me what i want to hear and i don't just have to think it

>some of those moments at those cons were unintentionally funny though.
yeah, but that's the diamond in the dungpile and now they try to manufacture these moments and i just can't take it anymore.

yup. saved my ass yesterday, but it's just making things worse in the long run.

for me it's enjoying the relative peaceful associated with holiday season. Closest thing to a time of relaxation in corporate world, since at very least there's not a lot of major things going on usually

it always stands out and and ruins every good will they might have build. not sure why they insist on it. i think the only time it really got me was when microsoft tried to make it so that people can't share their physical games anymore and sony responded with this:

He's fun, the shit eating grin and over the top cruelty are a nice contrast to makima's more subtle manipulation. Flamethrowers are cool also and work well with what his character is.

They do run on lower specs a lot of the time but it's varies. Speaking of, I'm gonna play Cry Of Fear when I get home. I'm unspoiled save for knowing the protagonist is depressed and (possibly?) has hallucinations. I've been playing l4d2 with a cry of fear shotgun mod since the model looks nice, which is why I wanna play the actual game.

I drew a few takes on it first. After a long discussion about how coverups work, I kind of decided that a raptor from a different idea I had would be better. So we're doing that.
>also one of the bigger issues for me was that i always felt like being ripped off since i don't have a clue about modern pcs, so i was hesitant to get back into it.
Honestly the subscription service they want for online play is the biggest rip off. I get paying for server upkeep, but paying for older games from other consoles or games that aren't online is ridiculous. I can just emulate old Nintendo.
>i know your current situation isn't ideal, but i hope you can relax and enjoy the season

Yeah. It's not the best star wars legend book I've read so far imo, but it is an interesting sith story that gives a realistic reason to join their cause.

Not really. I feel like I have no idea what I'll be tested on. They said it's all common sense shit, but the flash card set I found has a lot of specific legal questions. I don't know what I'm in for.

sometimes you gotta go with the rational choice, but that doesn't mean you can't get your first idea as a regular tattoo later down the line.

>Honestly the subscription service they want for online play is the biggest rip off.
agreed. not as big of an issue for me, since i'm not much of a multiplayer guy, but definitely a reason not to bother with consoles in the first place. there'll be a lot of shitty practices pushed into mainstream gaming on every platform soon enough, though.

>I can just emulate old Nintendo.
seems like that's going to be one of the better options going forward. sad that's how the publishers want to go about it, but so be it.

>I think I'm making the best out of it. At least financally, I'm using the time to set up a better protfolio

it's always nice to get a little more backstory about factions like this, but there's also something charming about an asshole in a black bathrobe who throws lightning at people just because he's a malicious cunt. also love the fact that every single one of the three force users luke met are able to deflect force lightning or even absorb it and noone bothered to tell him how it's done.

It has it's place. The sith are in a weird area where sometimes they are an evil wizard, sometimes they're fascist, sometimes they're a philosophical counter response to the jedi. It depends.
My favorite evil villains are on two extremes. One is the Lannisters who embody a conflict of the human soul. The other is Art, pic rel, who is just born an evil sadist who hell calls up to do more evil.

they hastily through this vid together as a response to microsoft's catastrophic show and shoved it into their presentation. insane how hard microsoft fucked themself that year. corps are weird. at points they seem to get it and then they blunder it all in their greed. anf destroy every little piece of good will people had towards them. i think i know what the issue is now, but nothing you can really do about it until it all come crashing down.

>it just works

>your break sounds much more like a true break so that's something to look forward to.

>sometimes they are an evil wizard, sometimes they're fascist, sometimes they're a philosophical counter response to the jedi. It depends.
there's definitely a lot more going on and just all around less stability in their behavior, which is fitting as a counterpart to the very rigid structure of the jedi.

>My favorite evil villains are on two extremes.
both are great, but hard to find well executed examples off and when the creators are off the mark they really fall flat.
