Were the 90s really as great as 90s kids say?

playing outside was fun, but kids can still do that. i'd almost rather be a kid now, if it wasn't such a psychological torture course

The clash of eras the 90s kids saw is akin to a rainbow in a sunny day.

Maybe if AI really does something more interesting that vomit autocompletions we can see it again in our lifetime

I was told by an old fag, it was actually dumpy and depressing, the shinny neon stuff was more what they thought the future would be, not what the 90s was actually like.

Used to play this all the time at the Lazer tag with my old man.

What the fuck are you trying to say? Are you still trying to learn English?

Yes.
LGBT is literally the American values now like family and community and freedom and Republicans have become the whiny screeching faggot 24/7

World has become assbackwards

The late 90s stole the show, especially if you had an internet connection. You know how Uber/Doordash heavily subsidized rides early on to gobble up market share? The Internet was the same thing. Everyone trying to compete by offering the best service possible, oftentimes completely free.. Yahoo auctions charged 0% commission, and eBay was only 3%. Anything you couldn't get for free you could buy or sell without getting reamed with fees.

We all thought if this was the beginning it's only going to get better. Enshittification was a term that hadn't been coined yet.
