I wanted to ask robots what they think about, well, robots. Do you guys have any concerns or are you optimistic? What are you doing to prepare for what's to come?I'm very optimistic. I can't wait for AI like in Detroit: Become Human so my social life isn't dictated by whatever cliquey fucks fancy at any given moment. I wanna run away to a homestead with a few 'droids and never have to deal with people ever again.I couldn't care less about the people who will be replaced because I hate them, they've had their time in the sun, come what may. If they become impoverished, I don't care because they are responsible for the problems I've gone through. I'm currently studying poli-sci and I plan to work in the federal government, mostly irreplaceable, so I'm not afraid of being replaced.I'm very optimistic and excited. Everyone else can get fucked. >>83327083Underrated thread.I'm not very positive on what's about to come, if we ever get to a point where robotic wives are a thing, I'm pretty fucking sure our masters will do everything to fuck it up as much as they can. This, or they'll use robots to take more of our individual freedoms away. Furthermore, I do think that all this hype about artificial intelligence and robots is just another futuristic daydream, just like the flying cars bullshit.From an idealistic perspective, sweet and obedient robotic wives are probably one of the best, if not the best thing, that could ever happen to men. That's why we like to think about them so much.
