It's true that love and relationships are ultimately based on selfishness, but there is nothing immoral about selfishness. The only reason why it seems like a black pill to discover the selfish nature of love is that society has preached selflessness for two-thousand years, which makes love seem like an odious exception. The truth is, putting others above yourself is nothing more than slavery of the spirit. Do not sacrifice yourself for the sake of anyone else, whether in love or in anything; nor expect anyone else to sacrifice himself or herself for you.Power (social, political, financial, or otherwise) is a form of virtue or value. Women are, and indeed should be, attracted to that which is valuable. Society only corrupts and perverts itself when it worships weakness. Become valuable yourself if you want to attract women, and remember that value does not only take the shape of violence or social cachet. Look into the philosophies of Nietzsche and Ayn Rand. The red pill is generally right, but it doesn't give you the philosophical underpinnings that allow you to fully understand love.
