Work for two or three years and save 20 to 30K and then spend a year or two travelling in SEA and living in Philippines. 2. Get a job as a remote worker. You are employed by an American or European company but you can work remotely so you make a good salary and live in Philippine.3. Freelancing/Digital nomad. Years ago I met a German guy in SEA who was making money doing SEO which was enough to keep him travelling. Social media management, digital marketing, online selling, video editing, content marketing etc. You're probably not going to make a lot of money doing this, but if it is enough to pay rent in a basic room, pay for the internet, food and transport then it's doable. 4. Retired boomer you get a pension each month and you can live comfortably in the Philippines. 5. Work illegally in Philippines. Some guys get cash-in-hand jobs as dive instructors or surf instructors. If you get busted you will probably be deported. but there have been plenty of people who've done it. 6. Trust fund kid/richfag, your parents fund your lifestyle or you are a crypto-wunderkind.
