I lost out on some experiences because I had to get a job since I'm living in another country on my own, whereas other graduates could spend more than a year living with their parents and continue improving their CV with internships and other programmes. I kept narrowly missing out on a job I really wanted (had 3 interviews with the company) but each time I was just slightly worse than another candidate. The manager was kind enough to give me feedback, and even said I was definitely good enough for the job. It's brutal out there.
