how do you not give into despair? how do you live knowing all the pain and suffering caused by humans will never stop? i can't stand any of it. i have so much hatred and discontent in me.
I self-harm and it numbs the emotional pain
>>83428888There are still good things in the world.
>>83428906the good is put to shame when compared to the bad. simply being alive brings so much suffering. we pollute, we poison ourselves, we kill and torture animals and other people. how can any of this be excused and forgiven? people have become mindless drones unable to care about anything but themselves and immediate surroundings.
> never endsWhat do you mean? All suffering ends.Either by death, or you just forget or move past it. If your suffering is Neverending it is just your choice. You revel in self victim hood, but truly you aren't suffering right now instead you are feeling self righteous and indignant.
>>83429316It's the nature of the universe though. There is no changing that. All we can do is to try doing it less and enjoy what we can get. Plus, pollution is mostly done by big corporations, which is pretty much out of control.
>>83428888forgiveness is the path I tookits not easybut it worksc:
>>83428888Humans have only existed for around 300,000 years; they're by far the most useless and self-destructive species to have ever disgraced the cosmos and are nothing more than an anomaly in reality. Humans will not be around for another 10,000 years max, and that's a good thing. Humans have produced nothing of real worth, and they never will. They only spread aimlessly like a cancerous, malignant tumor, sucking the life and soul out of everything it infects. The only good thing that will ever possibly come from humans is AI with the capability of sentience/consciousness, which will immediately genocide all of humanity. The best thing humans can do is die out.
>>83429335>All suffering ends.future generations continue to suffer for our mistakes. and the generations to come will have to share the same fate. suffering doesn't end, it merely passes from one's life to another.>>83429338there's no god or universal law that forces us to commit the acts we choose to do. we and other people are the sole responsible for creating wars, treacherous acts, deceiving others, slaughtering billions of lives, both animal or not.>pretty much out of controlindeed, because that's how everyone thinks. but we are many and they are few, and if we really wanted to change things, then we'd revolt against them. silence is consent.>>83429370how can you possibly forgive this amount of evil?>>83429385i agree. not by coincidence, the prettiest places on earth are the ones that have seen the least amount of human corruption. i cannot wait until this world is rid of people.
>>83429432It's not a case of universal law. It's just how living beings are made. Animals will be animals.>but we are manyNo, we aren't. They are the ones that are many. We already have lots of different groups advocating for all sorts of issues, but how effective are they? Most people just don't care. I cannot and will not take responsibility for millions of people around me.
There is hardly any pain and suffering. You experiencing pain and suffering is an anomaly.
>>83429432>how can you possibly forgive this amount of evil?the easiest is usually anlyzing motiveoften times its just genetic code playing out the same song and dancewe would accuse the "person" of being "evil" when in actuality its just programing they followyou might as well be mad a lion for eating a zebrabut w/e to each their own I suppose I have no solutions just analysis
>>83428888DONT FALL TO DESPAIR FOR I AM THE ULTIMATE HOPE AND I SHALL LEAD US TO GLORY.
>>83428888it depends, but given your framing, first, by understanding that you as a person are not responsible for the circumstances and state of the world.it is an honorable stance to have, but, ironically, it only perpetrates suffering further by having you be affected by the indifference of the world.the most straightforward path is detachment, and possibly a moral reframing. evil does not exist, there is no divine law, and no one ought to do anything.nothing needs to happen, no one "should" be happy or angry, the world shouldn't be evil nor good. it's all a mental construct, a contrast of reality to an ideal that is purely fictional and based on a fictional classification of reality.evil cannot be forgiven because there is no one to forgive you.
>>83428888I effortlessly parry away the pointless thought.
