I suspect you are a teenager. Anyway the reason they make keep making decisions for you is because they might believe you're incapable of that. And they can be right.

im mixed and my parents divorced so my dad was an over bearing ex marine who forced me to draw every week because i was the best artist in the school and when i was 15 i asked my mom to buy me E&J from the liquor store before i went to school that day and she did it for me
