When did you realize you have/had no personality?
>>83434775What is "personality"?
>>83434775>When did you realize you have/had no personality?I don't think that anyone who knows me would claim that I lack a personality, for better or for worse.
probably when pretty much everyone but my family blacklisted me
When I realized that I had spent my entire life emulating figures I looked up to, only to find I have no actual thoughts, opinions, beliefs, convictions, likes or dislikes, that aren't derivative of another person.
>>83434775Most people don't really have a personality. This has become much more apparent in the 21st century, but almost everyone fits into the same overplayed archetypes of personality, so much so, that you can predict their entire lives through sheer statistics alone. Everyone is just a result of nurture and nature, biological determinism is the main decider of the modern world. You can literally look at someone and already ascertain their entire world view, because people have been reduced to nothing more than an observable character and not a human being. There is no nuance, there is no genuine thought, there is only conformity to the utmost hellish degree. This has been true for the masses, for all of human existence btw. True revolutionaries, innovators, philosophers etc are all one in billions of people. We are still referencing Plato, we are still following thousands of years old religions, we still go off of the assumptions of scientists who have been dead for hundreds of years. The masses are nothing but a pale imitation of true humans.
with all my failures in making friends
>>83434775I wonder if life would be easier if I clinged to an identity. Many people do, they are what they do.
>>83434775Probably in middle school when I was told as much by several people. Ironically I went on to develop a somewhat weird personality in high school but people seemed to like me more for it.
