I do think it is important to understand some words through the Greek, especially in regards to the New Testament. Like, for example, a common one for the word, "sorcery" or "witchcraft", has multiple meanings in the original Greek it was written in. So, it can mean, occult/magickal practices, the usage of drugs and other things as well. Sad that people will twist God's Word, and justify something like smoking marijuana, by going to the Book of Genesis, and say, "SEE! It says here, that the Lord God gave every tree yielding seed for food". Yet, the Holy Bible condemns witchcraft, not only in the Old Testament, as shown in Deuteronomy 18:9-11, but also in the New Testament as well. The Bible is so interesting. There is so much layers of meaning to it, and I find it so fascinating. I just feel like a piece of garbage, because I'm currently backslidden from the Lord, yet I know how real He is, and the amount of grace He has had on me has been amazing.
