what did you have in the hotel for breakfast? do they serve western-style continental for the travelers, or do they have other versions like omurice and omelets? from what i have read typical east asian breakfasts more closely seem like a typical lunch or dinner but in smaller portions, bowls of rice with miso soup and various vegetables and fish. that always seemed far preferable to bacon and eggs or pancakes or cereal.
