i have the mirror issue. every girl i talk to keeps reading flirting and sexual meaning into what i say. it's super uncomfortable. i'm a prude and not interested in the first place so it's not like i speak in innuendo or am signalling desperation. makes me not want to speak to them at all. when they try to talk about sex or romance i just shut up and maybe hint to change the subject, it's such a minefield. which is a problem because that's half of the most common topics.
