Guns are fun and make you feel powerful which I imagine is exhilarating to many loser faggots on /r9k/ but they don't actually solve anything. The problem people propose guns solve are caused by guns themselves, and the inevitable issue even in a fully armed society is that you can easily kill a significant amount of people with a gun purely by surprise, shooting them in the back, from a vantage point, or accessing a low gun environment like the classic school shooting, all long before anyone can retaliate. Free access to guns ultimately just gives anyone mentally/emotionally unstable or checked out from society the perfect opportunity to cause maximum damage before they're gifted with a summary execution. The result is innumerable lives ruined because selfish babies want toys to play with.
