>order pizza for carry out
>its way cheaper than delivery and ready much faster
yeah im a carry out only guy now on
>>

Same.
>Order carryout
>$17.88 for two pizzas

>Order Delivery
>$17.88 for two pizzas
>Plus $5.00 delivery fee
>Plus $4.00 tip or else you get shitty food, and slower service if you ever order from there again. Sometimes they know in advanced when you don't tip.

>Order delivery with doordash/uber eats
>$24.87 for two pizzas
>Plus $2.34 Convienience fee
>Plus $5.00 delivery fee
>Plus $5.00 tip or your shit will get stolen by a third worlder, or dropped off in the wrong spot. Then you have to call the customer service line to get a whooping 50% refund for food you didn't even get. >Or they beg you for more tip money with some retarded sob story since they have your phone number

I'll be honest. If I hear someone actually uses doordash/uber eats or the equivalent I go out of my way to steal from them/make their life miserable in subtle ways. Anyone that retarded with their money genuinely doesn't deserve it, and is actively detrimenting the world with their retardation.

yeah im a frozen only guy now on

I like ordering carryout cause I get to do on a little adventure :)
>>
>>83440782
I've tried just about every frozen pizza that's on the market at one point or another. The one's that are 2 for $8 or the equivalent taste like dogshit. Even the ones that are more expensive, and almost $8 by themselves are not very good. Which pizzas are you eating?
>>
>>83440782
>>83440821
Red Baron is very tolerable and cheap, Throw some red pepper flakes and garlic powder on there.
you just need more alcohol/weed in your life to be able to enjoy the trashy things in life.
>>
>>83440835
red baron is the only frozen pizza i enjoy. everything else tastes bad and gives me stomach aches especially DiGiorno.
>>
>>83440821
I only eat from Herr Oetker
>>
>>83440782
>hires a crackhead for $2, he stabs the pizza guy and brings me all the pizzas
Yeah im a hire crackhead guy now on
>>
>>83440821
I've eaten almost every frozen pizza at my grocery store. There are coupons basically every week with crazy deals like buy 1 get 1 or 3 bucks off. I find the red baron brick oven or fully loaded to be acceptable. Freschetta has the garlic duo line which is pretty good. Motor City is great but never on sale. Homerun Inn is divisive and has an odd dough, but some people really like it. Newman's Own was decent but overpriced even on sale. The worst I've had are the storebrand pizzas or the super cheap ones like tombstone. Also I hate screamin' sicilian which is unfortunate because it's always on sale. Oh and anything with a stuffed crust tends to be awful, it's just too much cheese to eat in one sitting.
>>
Anyone else notice that stuffed crust pizza has better dough?
>>
>>83440835
Red Baron made top tier breakfast pizzas. Those scrambles were fucking amazing. I like their french bread pizzas, but I don't consider that a true frozen pizza. Their frozen pizzas are okay, but those ones are in the $7-$8 range if it has any worthwhile toppings on it.
>>83440868
It looks like these are branded under "virtuoso" fairly recently in the US. I'll keep my eyes peeled for them, and try one.
>>83440872
Motor city is close to the best I've had frozen-wise, it just makes me shit my brains out afterwords so I don't get them. Freschetta used to be a lot better. I feel it's quality has dropped substantially post-covid like many other things. Screamin' Sicilian is onions coded. I tried one or two. Not impressed. Newmans is okay. About the same as Red Baron. But Red Baron is usually a little cheaper.
>>
>>83440782
How do you make the bottom of the pizza not hard as fuck though? A pizza oven?
>>
>>83440948
>Freschetta used to be a lot better
Have you tried the garlic ones though? It's newish and I find it much better than their other varieties.
>Red baron
I think they're the best for the price. I can get them as low as 3 dollars a pizza sometimes which is crazy value
>>
>>83440970
I bake on the rack at whatever temp they tell me to use but take it out a few minutes early. I've never had a problem with the pizza being hard. I'm just using a regular oven. As long as all the cheese is melted it's good to eat.
>>
You guys probably already know this but if you have to drive a while back home an insulated cooler bag works just as well for hot food too. Makes you feel like a delivery guy who gets to eat the orders themselves, at their own house.
>>
>>83440970
NTA, but I use a pizza pan. Like a baking tray, but just pizza shaped. Spray with a little olive oil spray before putting it in the oven. I don't like using the rack as pulling it out can be a pain, and I hate getting anything dropping down in the oven. Makes it dirty, and gross. That's just me though. They usually come out not overdone, and too crispy. That's with me liking the cheese to be slightly burnt too.
>>83440976
>Garlic ones
Off the top I can't remember. When I go shopping next Friday I'll look at the box art and see if it looks familiar.
>Red Baron
The ones that get that low I typically don't find to be all that good. Even with Red Baron. I know Dominos isn't spectacular, but when I can get a similiar sized pizza from them for carryout at like $7 each I just go with them. Also, if they goof up my order I get a free pizzer, and a free one cause I use the app over time.
>>
>>83441008
>Not also buying a fake pizza delivery driver car topper to accompany your bagged pizza so you can speed too without cops giving you shit.
NGMI.
>>
>>83441057
>see if it looks familiar
If you don't recognize them, I think they're worth a shot as long as you like garlic
>The ones that get that low I typically don't find to be all that good
The only ones that don't get that low at my store are the fully loaded and stuffed crust ones. I don't know if there are other varieties that I haven't tried though. Personally I like the brick oven ones quite a bit and I think 3 bucks is a pretty good deal, though at the normal 5 something I'd rather just spend more and get something more substantial.
>>
>>83441120
Garlic is fine. I'll keep my eyes peeled. If it sucks though I'm gonna make a thread, and call you out. The brick oven cheese/pepperoni pizzas from Red Baron are just "okay" for me. I find the sauce tends to be a bit too acidic, and half the time I eat one my inner mouth will have a bit of peeling/rawness afterwards. The cheese is okay, and if you're getting them for like 3 dollars that's good. I just don't like eating them because of the sauce.
>>
>>83440782
>make pizza at home
>$1.50 for better than delivery
yeah I'm a home pizza only guy now on
>>
>>83442012
>If it sucks though I'm gonna make a thread, and call you out
I'll commit seppuku if it sucks
>half the time I eat one my inner mouth will have a bit of peeling/rawness afterwards
I get that too. I always thought I was just eating it too fast and burning my mouth. I might be retarded. What the hell is going on with that sauce? I agree though, the sauce is pretty bad, but I think the crust makes up for it. Nice and chewy.
>>
Tricking ppl into paying $5-10 extra for luke warm McDonald's at home is the greatest trick the Jew ever played
>>
>>83442035
Cheese alone is 4 bucks a bag minimum how you paying 1.50 for homemade pizza?
>>
>>83442096
He's not. He's paying more like $2.40 per small-medium pizza with cheese for the ingredients. Between sauce, cheese (grated or pre-shredded) flour, water, salt, any other seasonings. Let alone toppings. He's also spending a good 1.5 hours for prep. Which should be considered too. Unless he's making everything by scratch then you could add another hour or so. Between cleaning utensils, gathering the ingredients. Getting the dough to rise, etc. If he's autistic enough to search for discounted ingredients then factor in another hour or so for bargain hunting in the stores/flyers/couponing.

Cheaper than frozen. Tastes a lot better for sure, but not that cheap in today's world unless he lives in a thirld world country. Also way more time consuming than turning the oven on, and putting it on the rack.
>>
>>83440672
I live 200m or so from a pizza place. I exclusively do carryout and it's nice. HOWEVER, the other day a person a few doors down from me ordered pizza from said place. A 200m walk. I hope they were sick or elderly.
>>
>>83442058
I think it's just part of the perservative processing with some pizza sauces. It doesn't happen with every frozen pizza, but the brick oven ones from Red Baron do that for me. Which is odd since their other pizzas don't do that.

Maybe they're on sale because a batch of their pizzas had a lower than normal (acceptable range) Ph in their sauce? Machines fuck up all the time, and I'm sure their operators aren't like cream of the crop or anything.
>>
>>83442323
Yeah I don't think there's a lot of quality control on those. I don't know what the qualifications are to work in the pizza factory but definitely not cream of the crop yeah. My store just always has crazy sales though so I don't think it's that. I get buy one get two chicken at least once a month for example, it's insane and can't possibly be profitable.
>>
>>83440672
For the time and gas investment of the trip to the store, you save a delivery service fee and delivery tip. You would still need to spend the time for it to be delivered, so unless you were doing something important or if the place is close enough anyways, it's a better deal at this point to cut out the "gig economy" services.

Might just be overstock, or wholesale. Lots of places make a solid business operating like that, and it works out for the consumer. It blows my mind people still shop at Wal-mart when there are so many cheaper options with better quality unironically. But, I digress. Sometime this next week imma get a pizzer.

>>
>>83442436
Probably overstock. It's a flagship store so they try to keep the shelves stocks to look good but it results in oversupply. I haven't been inside a Walmart in years. I never feel good in those. The air doesn't smell right.
I get a pizzer every week. It's the main thing I look forward to in life. Sometimes I mix it up and get some other frozen slop. You ever have those Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches? They're not great but they remind me of childhood. Oh man, or toaster scrambles. I wish my store sold those.
>>
>>83442479
I ate some sausage biscuit jimmy dean brekky sandwiches today actually. I got the 10 count box yesterday, and already ate like 4 packs of the two. They're not bad for what they are. I don't usually do the full blown breakfast sandwich ones because I make my own each morning typically with an everything bagel. I also fry up one of those frozen hashbrown patties and season it with some onion powder, salt, and dill. They're nice. Never was big on toaster strudels because I associated them with the fruit ones for so long, and those were pretty meh. The breakfast ones came later. I hear they're good though.

>The air doesn't smell right
Hahahaa yeah. I like seeing all the chubby/fat chicks when I go there. Unironically too.
>>
>>83440672
>the store using less resources costs less money
Are white people this retarded? No shit.
>>
>>83442536
>I got the 10 count box yesterday, and already ate like 4 packs of the two
I cannot control myself with them. I could probably eat the whole box in one sitting. It's weird because they don't taste that great to me. Nostalgia is a helluva drug. Everything bagel breakfast sandwiches are great. I do them on English muffins sometimes too. Never tried the frozen hashbrowns but they sound like a good add. Yeah the toaster strudels kind of sucked but the scrambles are great. You gotta try them if your store sells them.
>chubby/fat chicks
I saw a lot of chicks on heroin last time I went. Big problem in my area. I also went pretty late at night though probably changes the clientele a bit.
>>
>>83442547
>racist thinks only white people can afford to buy a carry out pizza.
Be better.

*fewer resources
>>
>>83442588
Yeah they're pretty good. The Tennesee Pride ones are solid too. They're nice when you're too tired to bother making something. I only get at most one box a week so I'm not leaning on them too much.
>Heroin chicks
Also pretty nice. I just like people watching in general. Good or bad. There's a girl at the deli who seems kind of nice when I go there. I had a different girl who was a pooner serve me yesterday, and she was nice as well. Saw some autist in a multi-colored sports jacket with his mom/handler who looked about 30. Which was interesting. One or two goth girls. One of them a cashier. I went with the farmer looking girl instead, and she was alright. Saw a MtF at the haircut place on my way out sitting in the barber chair with zero customers while on their phone. You see all kinds in there.

Ingenious... duly noted for future use.
