Anons I know some of you will be mad but I honestly thought Ghostbusters 2 was a pretty good movie. It did some new stuff but didn't stray so far from the heart of the characters that is was whacky. The other thing we need to keep in mind is that the first one set the bar so high that it's unreasonable to expect the sequel to reach that peak or exceed it. Plus, it's kind of a movie for kids and early teens, it's not meant to cater just to adults.
Evolution (2001) was a better sequel to Ghostbusters than Ghostbusters II.
