My dad paid thousands of dollars for ketamine (spravato) therapy to cure my depression and all it did was make me feel like I was going to die every session and I didn't know how to walk afterwards. Also that shit takes forever, it was basically a 4-hour ordeal when you account for transportation time. Should I just start taking Concerta as an antidepressant? Seems to work better than SSRIs and this shit ever did.

It's obvious that depression is a symptom, not your disorder. The reason they continue with it is because they can make a lot of money off of you for years to either diagnose you with "treatment resistant" depression, or finally properly diagnose you.

just keep in mind that stuff like concerta and adderall will probably leave you hooked on being on those drugs. slippery slope, my friend.

They diagnosed me with basically everything in the book, boss. All before I even turned 18. I feel like I'm just running off of emergency generators at this point.

>ADHD
>Concerta makes you feel better
There you go. Ketamine is not going to make you better.

ADHD doesn't exist. Concerta works for everyone.

I know. I used to abuse it at one point, which is why I'm nervous about relying on it. I wish there was another way but it's what I'm stuck with.

I had high hopes for it, very unfortunate. I think they just give it to people to neutralize them, really.

True, Satan. I'm pretty dumb, but I know that low IQ is linked to basically every ADHD symptom out there. It's not much of a secret.

If you're receiving Ketamine therapy that means you have resistant depression and normal drugs won't work. Have you considered ECT or any other mechanical Brain Stimulation Therapy? They're extremely effective contrary to the general belief and stigma associated with them.

Can you spoonfeed me a bit on that? Sorry. I did the bare minimum of research and it seems to be the modern day equivalent of a lobotomy. Maybe I'm overreacting, I don't know. My depression is bad but I don't know if I need to get seizures in order to fix myself.

As I said the social stigma against ECT is as ridiculous as the retards claiming Nazi was progressive.
The seizures are controlled, lasts for 1 minute max, and even then, you'd be under a potent anesthetic. There are barely any side effects apart from a short term amnesia. Do you know that ECT is something you can safely give to a pregnant women, whereas thousands of drugs are contraindications.
Other than that, you may opt for other non invasive stimulations as well. They're also good.
