I thought about this since I was a kid and I never really considered it ultimate power unless I had the ability to teleport to my friend's house and essentially use my power to do the same thing to him.we had chronicles and shit we would LARP. they made a movie called Chronicle which is this same concept, pretty sure all boys think about this at some point in some form.
