i don't want to handle the responsibility and eventual grief of having and losing a pet rat so i sometimes go to the park and throw peanuts at squirrelsi think rats are very cute though, it's the high point of my day when i see them crawling around on the subway

>>83468167Not really, no. They're manageable but not really the best of pets. If you want a manageable pet then just go for a reptile, it'll live longer(depends on the species) and you'll need to feed it less often.
