Probably not. I would rather die alone and a virgin than meet a girl online. As a zoomer, I never got to experience romance without social media. Not that people don't meet in person any more (it's rare, yes), but none of the girls 'in my league' with whom I would have awkwardly flirted at work or in class, say, 40 years ago are open to doing that. It seems that they simply don't see romance or value in meeting men in real life as opposed to social media, contrary to what I grew up believing (am I the only one?). Even as far back as primary school, it was all, "I'm snapping her, we've been talking for 2 weeks now". Perhaps one of the reasons there is such a power imbalance between the social capital of young men and women is that women simply don't have to risk making a fool of themselves in order to find someone that's attracted to them. Maybe I'm just a fucking loser who's mind was rotted by the teen romance films of the 80's and stupid fucking novels I would read as a pre-teen, but I don't give a fuck, it all feels wrong.
