Lot of adults are literally drug addicts and I'm a certified drug dealer

Wait until you find out how many people do coke
>>
A lot of people will hate to hear it but it makes perfect sense to be on something. If you can succeed in this hell world while sober you're a fucking psychopath.

Half my day is filling prescriptions for "fake" adhd patients. From 8 yr olds to 65 yr olds.

>>83468894
I was just shocked by how many people are literally using this. At top of list might be antibiotics , cholesterol/heart medication then adderal itself being most common drug ill fill.

ok but can i get some codeine for my uh cough

>"fake" adhd patients
I that the effects of the modern digital world could legitimately be inducing something similar enough to adhd in people that the distinction between real and fake doesn't really matter, as long as they're informed on the choice they're making. It's dystopic but it's reality.

No kidding, but typically lean towards thc

And what makes it worse is desperation as well. I'll tell them stuff like you'd have to talk to ur doctor before I can proceed with a refill. And they go bonkers realizing they might go without adderal for few days

I've experienced this firsthand with a friend who took vyvance (however it's spelled). Absolutely lost his fucking mind when he got cut off due to supply problems. Worse was when he lost his job and had no insurance, at the time there was no generic and the real deal is like $600. You would have think he was trying to quit heroin. It legitimately does help him but it's just a sad state of affairs.

ADHD is relative to the person's lifestyle. An accountant is much more likely to have ADHD than a wilderness guide. It's not a disease in the traditional sense it's just the level of attention the person has available relative to how much attention they require to live their life. Prescribed stimulants are fairly safe and not prone to abuse, so what's the issue here?
>>

The issue is that we're supposed to be somewhere towards the top of the animal kingdom given our incredible thinking abilities. Defenseless tiny prey blobs like mice and squirrels are the only animals that should have ADHD. Our ability to think for more than 10 seconds at a time is all we have.

ADHD isn't a real disease, no one has it. If you took someone with ADHD and dropped them into a wilderness survival scenario they would suddenly not have ADHD anymore. It's a modern phenomena caused by us expecting significantly greater levels of concentration than we evolved for. There's a reason the primary sufferers are knowledge workers who are expected to focus on lines of code or numbers in a spreadsheet for 8 straight hours. Animals don't have ADHD either, those traits are adaptive.

Put the drugs in the bag
>>
>>83469191
I agree. I guess the issue is I see is subjective, I don't know whether the destructive tradeoffs that go along with the modern world are worth it, that's my hang-up. I don't mind that people are using drugs to make it through their jobs, it's just that by all accounts none of this should have happened in the first place and it's only going to get worse since normalcy gets edgier and edgier as time goes on. Pleasure cubes or something.
>>
I don't take mine regularly: just when I absolutely have to concentrate like during my job. Otherwise, I'm switching from task to task without getting any of it done. I prefer that. I could take Strattera, but I like taking it as needed. I still have appointments, but sometimes I have so many I don't need a refill durimg the time of apppointment. So my psych will say to call in when I need the refill.

Poorfag tech here, patients will do anything to get controls early. With some having more valid reasons than others.
