It just seems to make them either act retarded or like they're on the verge of dying. They also always wake up feeling like shit afterwards anyways so what's the point? Beer doesn't even taste good.

You seem underage or simply stupid. People enjoy alcohol because it releases happy chemicals in their brain. I am not a normalfag and enjoy alcohol. I drink it alone in my room, it temporarily removes anxiety and depression.

Probably started with a big-alcohol psyop millenia ago and ever since normalcattle feel the urge to do as others do so they belong and arent excluded like the weird guy who doesn't drink.

My brother is the weird guy who doesn't drink and he gets 2000% the pussy I do. Weird guys are in these days.

Wouldn't you feel even worse after it wears off though? Depression combined with a hangover doesn't sound like much fun.

I can enjoy alcohol for the taste but I can't bring myself to get blackout drunk, but I've seen that's the very reason why some of my coworkers do it.
Most alchies grow up in environments and around people that make them relate drinking to celebrating and feeling good and socializing, so they do it out of custom. Also, getting drunk is the perfect excuse for them to forget about themselves and lose any kind of agency.
>Oh, the beers in me did it.
>Did I say that? I was wasted, so it doesn't matter.
They prefer to drink themselves into a coma instead of addressing their own problems and traumas. It's acceptable for normies.

Yes, I do feel worse the next day. However I feel much better than I would sober while drinking, so it is a trade that I am willing to make.

Social pressure, the expectation that you will drink as an adult, the rite of passage of drinking once you hit 21, people not capable of handling intense negative emotions and choose to drown it with booze, they just like being drunk, or they just really like burning money. I hate everything about alcohol and prefer to rawdog my painful emotions and memories. (This section of my post is to mention I am in my late 20s and not underage)
