I miss when you could do bad shit on the internet and get away with it.
>>83472414Same. Now everything is sanitized and dry.
>>83472414Nobody's stopping you from posting gore in /b/, anon.
>>83472414what bad shit do you want to do?
you can get away with that anytime you want, pick ur taget wisely -molly
>>83473598Are you suggesting picking on vulnerable people who cant defend themselves?
>>83473613Yeah. What will she do in prison? Just that? Or will she preemptively suck off my big brown brothers? Also see : >>83473953>>83473966
>>83474445>Yeah.You're a piece of shit and deserve and bad karma coming your way
You can still pirate the fuck out of every single thing known to man, I recently went back to doing that. If the game is single player, it's getting pirated, I dont give a fuck anymore.Movies you can just stream, there is no reason to have a sub to anything unless you want to watch a very specific show in good quality. That Daryl Dixon spin off shit is impossible to watch on stream because they speak an unholy amount of French and the subtitles don't work on jeet sites, so thats one reason, but even then you can torrent them.
>>83474470Maybe reply to the valuable part of my comment.
>>83472414>bad shitwdym by this?
>>83474480I have no idea what you're talking about, it's literally just word salad
>>83472414u still can i see it everyday c:
Back in like 2009, a bunch of anons on /b/ found an unsecured webcam in some random office in Florida, and it was hooked up to the thermostat somehow. We were able to fuck with the same security guard all night by just making it obnoxiously cold, then hot, then changing it again when he fixed it. That's probably outrageously illegal, but it was ages ago and it was really fucking funny seeing him scramble to turn the heat back up like "WHAT THE FUCK" as the temperature just started plummeting again.Wouldn't even try that kind of shit these days.
>>83474573I'd bet my literal life on that you have a recording of that somewhere tucked.
>>83472414You definitely still can, your inhibitions outpace your intelligence.
>>83474490Most of the time they mean consuming child porn
>>83472414I used to run a shitty website with google adsense on it like 20 years. I'd go to gaming forums and tell kids that if they came to my site and clicked my ads X amount of times over the course of months I'd send them pirated software. I made like a whole 80 dollars doing this before they closed my adsense account lol. It was a fake gaming news site with flash games on it and a "prize" page which I told the kids were the prizes they could pick from. I told them they didn't have to keep track of the ad clicks I could do it myself by logging their IP or whatever made up bullshit I told them. Pic is the archived skeleton of the first draft of the site, I don't even remember typing this shit, I was only like 12 at the time. The finished site looked way better. I used to be all into scamming people online when I was a kid for some fucking reason. I should have been born indian.
>>83472414With the reliance on AI and indian "coding" i'm hoping for a 1337 H4XX0R renaissance
>>83472414I wasn't involved but but even i get trolls remorse from when Jessie slaughter was harassed by this site, got good memes from it at least but she was only 11 at the time which was messed up
>>83472414>he wants to do bad shit on the internet
>>83472414i saw that tweet screencap repost about that nigger saying 2010 twitter was wild and people were posting instructions on how to make crack and nobody gave a shit, and it gets a bunch of comments saying it wasn't true. and just, yuh uh, it was, early internet and early social media was fucking wild, people posted all kinds of dumb shit because it was mostly young people screwing around, it was this you can say fucking anything on there and its never gonna bite you in the ass, unless you made like overly specific threats. these days its seems its safer to say wild shit in person than internet.but the saddest thing that was just inevitable and impossible to recreate was how we were all logging on for the first time together. young people, old people, you could go entire life and never speak to a canadian. FPS games, forums, MMORPGS, people were jumping into it and figuring it out together. there was no meta and there were incredibly few people doing these advanced number crunchings or practicing the exact distance to hitbox for each tic shit. there was always that one guy but vast majority were just fucking around. now you dont need to bother with games if you dont and you dont need to bother with forums unless its reddit. if you really wanted to see a movie you could just google movie name free online and just watch it lmao. quality was shit and ads hell but it was there, top 5 results. saw one guy here posting as early as 2013 that the cowboy wild west days of the internet was over and back then i thought it was just doomsaying. in 2012 end of the world or end of this or that was the shit so whatever. didn't realize he was right. early internet was this monumental era of humanity we can never replicate and i was fortunate enough to experience the twilight moments.
>>83477737and on that note, people are laughing now but dead internet theory is gonna happen. reels are increasingly AI and while at first people spot and resent it, more and more people dont give a shit. books are gonna be AI. articles already are AI. search engine is gonna be AI. i think movies and shows are also gonna be AI. its gonna be shittier but companies are gonna be able to churn out 20 movies for the price of making one the normal way so they're gonna push for it. same with music. ''well hollywood and music industry was all pedos and rapists anyway''. games are gonna be AI slop. maybe one day you talk about how it used to made by humans they way people today talk about movies being made without CGI everywhere. algorythms increasingly try and keep people in echo chambers to keep you online longer. kinda like how many other things just lost its charm after corporate made the entire thing tailor made to keep you spending as much money as humanly possible on stupid bs you dont need. the graph must go up whatever the cost.
