Was a NEET for 3 years in my early 20s. Not much luck with girls back then, to put it lightly. Now I'm 38, happily married with someone 12 years younger than me (been together 9 years), who's absolutely gorgeous and was a virgin when I met her.

I "tried" to get a good career, and so I did. Took many years of study, took grinding my own side hustles to prove my worth to highly respected employers. So now I make big money, at least relative to other guys my age. Now I work remote most days, spending most of my work hours jacking off, playing vidya, browsing 4chinz, etc. I have enough money in index funds to retire outright.

I "tried" to get in shape, and so I did. I was chubby as fuck in my early 20s. At first I only worked out 5 mins a day because anything else felt like hell. Then it became routine and I ramped it up. After a few years I felt like I plateaued so I roided for a year, but then I started getting anxiety about my health so I stopped and now I focus more on cardio, like swimming.

I put it the effort and it paid off. Effort isn't guaranteed to pay off, but success doesn't come "naturally". Sure, once you put in the effort regularly for a long enough time, it becomes second nature and it doesn't feel hard anymore.

You only WANT to think that it comes naturally to everyone else, because then you get to cope by saying that the game was rigged from the start and you were justified in giving up.

43% of teen girls have had sex in 2010, whereas it was 51% in 1988.

Worth noting that it's decreasing more for males than females, that's probably due to them having older boyfriends.

Also of note is that more recent data continues this downward trend.

I honestly stopped caring. I would like those things, but the reality of the women you have to pick from and the life my child may lead with the world going the way it is makes me not optimistic about a family life at all.
