Girl next to me at my job has people constantly orbiting her 90 percent of the day she is at work the other 10 percent she is roaming cubicles to talk to friends. meanwhile i sit at my desk trying to look busy 90 percent of the time. What exactly am I doing wrong?
>>83475999you are actively avoiding networking, meeting new people, and branching out of your day to day duties that most professionals in the workplace slack off on anyway. people will sense it and eventually you'll either get fed more and more shit work no one wants to do until you quit, or be the first to go in a round of layoffs. no in between
>>83475999Anon if you're going to be anti social, at least productivity-mog her. She's going to get promoted over you, and when she is, she'll remember that you were both antisocial and not productive.
>>83476064That's what I realized so I started accepting orbiters while also walking to other cubicles and talking for hours with them. It's exhausting but it beats sitting all day.>>83476087She has 8 years more in experience than me, I started working a few months ago here. Slowly I have become more productive.
