that's because you resent what you're studying. actually smart people actively go out there way to learn more about something, and pay attention the first time they learn it. it's not studying to them. Apart from a few confusing subjects, I almost never studied at school. I just paid attention in class because i was genuinely interested in the subject. sure beats not paying attention if nothing else. if you arent paying attention then what do you do for 30-60 minutes? And you know you should because good grades are important
