Somewhat related to your rant but it has always bothered me when rape victims started calling themselves "survivors".Like no dude, the overwhelming vast majority of people who have been raped survive being raped and live full lives after. It was mostly a artificial push from feminist groups stealing the language and iconography of holocaust survivors. Which is rich since most feminist back around those times were pro-nazi and extremely pro eugenics, and thus were pro-holocaust. Similar to how feminist stole terms from the black experience to ape the symbology of the civil rights movement, despite the fact that feminism has a long history of being actively opposed to the black civil rights movement.
