>Scientists have just discovered that we can look into past
>Scientists have found out that humans can live for more than 130 yrs
>Scientists have discovered a planet 6000 light years away that could be suitable for human habitation
>scientists have found that humans might've existed longer than we previous though

At end of day I'm still a sexless loner loser with nothing going for him. Why should I care if moon is made of cheese or if earth is flat

scientists have discovered that youre a fag

scientists always seem to be discovering something groundbreaking, earth-shattering, revolutionary, something to shake the whole world to our very core and upend everything we think we know about everything. and then we never hear about it again, until the next news cycle when the same story resurfaces with a fresh coat of paint. like how disney is revolutionizing the animation industry with its first gay character every other film. i wonder why that is.

Shartmartistan is maybe 1 /pol/itician's speech away from lynching their scientists.

I WANNA SEE OLIVIA'S RODRIGO

The was a viral story a couple months ago about the discovery of "tentacle rabbits", you might have seen it. Look it up and you'll see all the articles are from 2025. I remember that same EXACT story with the same exact pictures like 12 years ago. You can even find those old articles if you look hard enough. They just rehash shit to clickbait newer generations.

yeah, definitely know what that means.

trying really hard to imagine what that could possibly look like. googling that was fun, they do look freaky. it also stated that the virus that causes the growth is over a century old. no surprises that it would be recycled for a slow news day, perhaps if the prevalence increased in recent years.

the many articles about how ambiguously labeled scientists have suddenly and mysteriously proven that the universe is rapidly expanding faster than anticipated, no wait now shrinking, back to expanding to another big bang, shit is that the singularity? are incredibly grating. popular science has never been particularly intellectual, the mid-2010 deference to neil degrasse tyson and bill nye as scientific authorities is proof enough of that, but the redditification of it all is nonetheless annoying to watch. at least not everything is compared to rick and morty anymore.

Scientists need funding first and foremost
>>
>>83486127
The reality of the science probably isn't exciting. It gets hyped up by journos who don't understand shit about science and want a good story. It also gets hyped up by the scientists themselves who want to look like they're making breakthroughs so they get published in prestigious journals and keep getting funding. Nobody wants to hear about most science that happens, and the "science" you do hear about is actually just marketing fluff.

>a particles behavior seems shaped after it travelled
So they measure it, and what they see when they measure it they say is different than before they measured it therefore it changed how it was prior to measuring it? Or what? Seems utterly retarded whatever its trying to say, clearly so Eric Weinstein tier science grift

>use money to experiment on unethical things
>hmm we need to make something up to make scientists seem credible still

yeah dude i feel u. i am more worried about my grindset these days than the natural philosophy blabber. i am trying to stay grounded. i work hard for the sake of hope for yet another chance at life.
