scientists always seem to be discovering something groundbreaking, earth-shattering, revolutionary, something to shake the whole world to our very core and upend everything we think we know about everything. and then we never hear about it again, until the next news cycle when the same story resurfaces with a fresh coat of paint. like how disney is revolutionizing the animation industry with its first gay character every other film. i wonder why that is.

Look it up and you'll see all the articles are from 2025. I remember that same EXACT story with the same exact pictures like 12 years ago. It also gets hyped up by the scientists themselves who want to look like they're making breakthroughs so they get published in prestigious journals and keep getting funding. Nobody wants to hear about most science that happens, and the "science" you do hear about is actually just marketing fluff.
