Why are the people on Reddit specifically so angry and vile? If you ask a question they belittle you as if you just took a shit on their couch like a dog. I'm not even talking about the left-wing side of it, because that general hair-trigger attitude is present even on the few remaining right-wing pockets present. Every time I tried to use Reddit, I ended up just baiting people and making outrageous threads because they eat that shit up. I've never understood that site, I know most normalfag places (Xitter, Facebook, Discord, TikTok) have problems but Reddit is a very hostile place.

>>83486397It is funny, since when I tried to make a serious thread about something I usually just got downdooted and 1-2 half-assed responses telling me "but you shouldn't want to do that". Of course I ended up getting banned anyway after about 30 minutes every time, but they seem to actively seek out threads where they can chimp out. It's like the entire userbase is elementary school teachers addicted to Xanax coming home just waiting to find a target to unload their rage on.
