How does one build an audience? Is it mostly up to the kind of person you are?

Connections.Have connections to a popular e-celeb who can shill you, have family members who work in marketing (or are rich enough to afford viral marketers), have a pre-existing audience on another platform, etc.Actual self-made YouTubers are pretty much non-existent nowadays. Even the ones that seem to pop out of nowhere got there because of paid viral marketing.
>>83488035Idk if you want an example from what I know theres a streamer called mizkif who went semi-viral in the online twitch-sphere for originally making videos like "Who is x streamer" usually concerning popular streamers at the time, he then started streaming and got a girlfriend maya and built up his connections with other streamers presumably through her and OTK streamer group. Basically riding on the popularity of others the entire way, you dont really need to be super interesting just dont have the personality of a corpse, though obviously its never easy

You keep ringing the bell over and over people will start to notice. Up your frequency and an audience will swarm in.>ValueThis is probably the most important. Does, what you do, benefit others. Does it give them something, is it of utility to them? You have to start providing value. The audience will follow and it will keep them there as well.
