I think normies who drink alcohol and aren't using it to cope with something are just pretending to like it because society says it's cool. I hate the taste and I hate being drunk.
>>83492503Kind of true, I drank at the beginning to feel cool, moody, mysterious, now its bad and I cant exist without drinking before going to work
>>83492503They use it as social lubricant, OP, more often than they're using it to cope.If you're using it to cope you have an actual problem.
>>83492503>I hate it therefore it must be the same for every other human beingHave you ever considered that you might be lowkirk retarded? No, you're probably not smart enough for that
>>83492503How much did the stuff you try cost?
>>83492503>And aren't using it to cope with somethingEveryone who drinks alcohol is coping with something. Nobody actually likes the taste nor the feeling of being drunk. You're not special.
>>83492503i dont agree with you on being drunkone of the best feelings in the world, its like you dont have problems, you just dont think aabout them
>>83492570That's exactly why I hate being drunk. I hate letting my guard down. I might accidentally leak secrets or eat something I'm allergic to
>>83492503I just don't get the expectation of drinking in social settings. I understand when it's a night club trying to sell drinks or something but why do I have to drink at my uncle's Fourth of July party?
>>83492569i absolutely both love the taste and the feeling of being drunk
>>83492569>Nobody actually likes the tasteThat's not true. A good wine should taste nice and you should have the right type of wine for the food you have. Being drunk is stupid though. I have way more fun being sober than being dumb from drinking.
>>83492680Wine is different because there's a refined culture around it. Beer tastes like piss and people only drink it because it's a cheap way to get drunk. Nobody would drink Bud Light if it tasted the exact same but had no alcohol.
>>83492503It's all a psyop. Every smoker and drinker I know started at a young age to be cool. Now I see parents letting their teens vape and shit. Oh well, couldn't be me.
>>83492503I literally asked this question yesterday, and I still don't fully understand why anyone puts themselves through this.>tastes like shit>burns going down>causes unrepairable damage to your digestive system>expensive (picrel)>is quite literally a psychotropic drugThis is what society deems as 'acceptable' while condemning something like self-cutting? The fuck ever.
>>83492503Ginger beer tastes nice though.
>>83492581theres another advantage, people dont take you seriously when youre drunk, so you could say batshit crazy things and people will dismiss it as a rly bad joke
>>83492703>it's a cheap way to get drunklet me introduce you to smirkoff/poliakoff
It's my go-to for social situations. I rarely, if ever, drink on my own or when home alone. And when I do it's usually a pathetic celebration of some milestone, like a birthday, or promotion, or other such.>smokingThis on the other hand has always just been fully retarded. Whenever I see a smoker, all it tells me is they're a mark.
>>83492503>>83492569>>83492741>how can people enjoy the taste/getting drunk off booze There is nothing more cozy after a long day like having some beers, or a glass of whiskey, and they both taste great if you get the right stuff.
>>83492807I guess that's true. But I might let something slip while I'm kinda buzzed but not drunk enough to be incoherent.
I hate the taste but like being drunk. I didn't start drinking until my dad drank himself to death when I was 32. I smoke bud too but its just a complete difference. Alcohol puts you in the perfect state.
>>83492503I hate the taste, but need to get drunk. It's the only way to stop my brain from agonizing and stressing over factors I can't control.
I like beer and I love being drunk. I was drinking for like 48 hours straight this Christmas. I've got a cunt of a hangover.
I would absolutely drink more if my body didnt hate it. My hangovers are just the most extreme stomach pain I've ever felt. I NEVER had this in my 20s and could drink and drink and drink no problems.
