I'm trying to see a doctor for the first time in 15+ years but everything is too confusing with all the insurance bullshit. And apparently no one even accepts new patients these days. I guess I'm just going to die

That new patient wait list is no joke. Took me 4 months to get in. Find a good doctor in your network, make the appointment and wait. Ask if you can get a call if anything sooner opens up

It's tough, I pay roughly $600/mo for our family. We don't go to the doctor often, but when we do, it's piece of mind. Once our kids move out, it will only be like $200-300

Really? Around here, about every doctor office is accepting new patients. You might want to look into who is covered under your plan and start from there.

If you are using Google to find a doctor you are going about it wrong.
>Log into to your insurance website
>The site will have a "Find a Provider" option. Use it to find an in-network GP/Family doctor that is accepting new patients
>Unless you live in the sticks you will find someone
