been going to the same school as my rival since first grade primary school, we are both in college now and this rivalry continues. he tops me in everything, I am so angry being forever the underdog. > he beats me in every single the student council election I ran for since grade 6> he takes over the student organization I founded and kicked me out> he leads his friends and beats me and my friends at basketball every week> his gf is the hottest girl in school and great singer, I got rejected by 4 girls in highschool> he steals other peoples work and gets a 20k grant, my research is stuck at pending government approval > I got rejected by my dream college while he gets in > he gets the valedictorian while my grade is always 1 point lower than him > countless times he tried to ruin me, defame me, isolate me, on the surface he appears friendly to everyone, shakes my hand and we laugh together, the moment I turn away he stabs me in the back > I am scared of him, of his connections and supporters, there is nothing I can do to fight back > I went to an international exhibition to present my invention, he founds his own forum and use his parents connection to invite CEOs > he gets invited back to our highschool as successful alumni speaker, my highschool classmates and friends cut me off after graduation. > now he is back home for christmas break and surrounded by friends and his gf, I'm stuck here alone and all the people I know are thousand of miles away overseas. now he is in my dream school having the best time, and he will be set for success for life, while I'm still in the grind. how to get over this feeling? this rivalry? why am I forever the underdog? I try my hardest and get nothing in the end, while other people easily gets what I spend a lifetime chasing? I cant accept this, he wins and wins every time, I lose and lose to him, is this fate, is this destiny? he is the main character to his life while I'm just irrelevant even in my own story?
