why are male and female autism so different? from my experience talking to quite a few of either side, ive noticed that although both have similarities, they also have some quite different patterns.male autists are>aloof, isolated in their thoughts>cold, no emotional warmth to be found >overly calculated and blunt with their logic>interests catered around fringe logical concepts and complex sets of information. their interests in fiction, their escapism, is just as eccentric>interests centered in STEM (and sometimes philosophy)>social life involves very few companions and with little emotional exchangefemale autists are>excitable, whimsical>eager to share and connect with others>the same logical rigorousness and information obsession of male autists but instead applied towards the domain of emotions>focus on inner fantasies or fiction involving interpersonal relations or an emotional connection with the world >interests centered in the humanities>reason with values first>social life involves fewer but deeper emotional attachmentsthat said i have met many female autists that fit more the former male criterion of autism, but they seem to be more-so the exception (and also lesbian for whatever reason)and there are male autists that meet the latter female criterion as well, and most of the time they are gay as well.hmmmmm..
>>83502063Males are punished for autism whereas females get coddled. Hence, male autists close off from people.
>>83502063>female autistsShe's just "quirky" and "cute," with a series of interests that she's very passionate about and is generally an introverted cutie uwu.>male autistsDisgusting, degenerate "creature" of a human being who deserves not only to die alone, but should spend every waking moment of his broken life in immeasurable misery. Such a puerile manchild with those sophomoric interests. Also likely an abusive rapist and an incel. So says the cultural zeitgeist.
>>83502196if that macro is meant to be a mockery why does it have vivian james in the background
>>83502063My sister and I are most likely undiagnosed autistics. My sister was at least tolerated by our peers, while I was almost always ridiculed and picked on. So fuck normies and their hypocritical bullshit
>>83502063I've been wanting to get diagnosed for quite some time now any this made me even more confident that I might be autistic.
>>83502214Because (I'm guessing) she symbolizes modern gaming...everything great and not so great about it.>not sure when women suddenly started caring about vidya, yet here we are
>>83502063i think autistic ppl are more like heavily mentally influenced by their hormones and the traits ur describing are symptomatic of testosterone/estrogen influence respectively!
>>83502063I kinda go between the two as a dude but that's just me. Really depends on my mood and if I know the person. It's mostly about matching people.>focus on inner fantasies or fiction involving interpersonal relations or an emotional connection with the worldI think a lot of people experience this too but a lot of it just stems from never really having friends or a sense of belonging.>interests catered around fringe logical concepts and complex sets of information. their interests in fiction, their escapism, is just as eccentricI can't deny this is also part of the fantasies I have. I like to pretend I'm a computer basically. If I can't even do that, I succumb to despairing thoughts and a sense of doom. Good times don't last forever, so being able to cope with the less good times is necessary.Men have to toe the line and I'm on the fringe all the time. As others have said, it's a matter of social acceptance. Men are generally shunned for it, women are embraced. 90% of the skill needed is in how we communicate our fantasies and thoughts. People like a good story, it's just how we're wired.
>>83502063>female autists areThose aren't real.People who actually have it are not dissimilar. Masking isn't real, there is nothing "whimsical" about them
