in 8th grade the girl i had a crush on and i were walking to the auditoriuma guy in front of us gave a girl a piggyback ridethe dude took off running with this girl on his backso my crush asked if i could give her a piggyback ridei said yes because i figured this would help us bondthat's when i realized never leaving my room and playing video games all day was bad for mebecause i could barely walk while she was on my back, like i could barely take a stepshe was like "i weigh like 70some pounds"it was in that moment that i realized i should work out so that something like that never happens again.she never spoke to me again after that, she got off my back and speed walked to the auditorium by herself.sadly i ignored the lesson i learned that day and instead of hitting the gym i kept on being a weak ass bitch, to this day i do nothing but sit on my computer.have you ever had a life changing message from the universe and ignored it, anon?
i was never asked to do anything like that because i was so obviously skinny and physically avoidant but once i was instead lifted up and carried by a couple of girls before assenting to it for a game during pe
>>83511787have you become /fit/ yet OP?
>>83511787I'm not someone who gets many opportunities so I make sure I change when/where possible for the better.
>>83512189not yet, i said i didn't learn my lesson.i still am sedentary and my muscles are atrophying
>>83511787>>83512201I'm not gonna bore you with my life story but I'm a former NEET who also spent 16 hours a day at the computer or mobile games or console or three at once.I was already not in great shape being a wagie leading up to me becoming a fat NEET, but the silver lining of turning NEET was that it did give me all the free time and some resources to focus on getting in shape.Just to walk around an hour each day makes all the difference. Try out pokemon go or whatever meme apps that count your steps and somehow turn that into a game.I would mostly just download a podcast and walk around for an hour clearing my head instead of multitasking 8 different things. If you can't or don't want to join a normie gym you can often find city-ran gyms depending on where you live and it's mostly just old people and sometimes actual athletes working out there instead of tik tok whores and instagram gym rats filming content. There's also often outdoor gym parks, could just be basic calisthenics bars but there might be some basic machines as well big heavy things like rocks and tractor tires.
>>83511787>instead of hitting the gymYou don't need to hit the gym. Just download the free callisthenics app and work out at home.
>>83512317a few months ago i decided to go out and i went out for two days and ran and then never did it again, i might just start going out for walks. just to start off.
>>83512336i guess i could give this a try.
>>83511787I had this same experience but with a small kid at the park. Except when he jumped on my back I fucking collapsed and ate shit hard. NO I DONT KNOW WHY I WAS GIVING PIGGYBACK RIDES TO LITTLE KIDS AT THE PARK!
>>83512337Absolutely, nightwalks are comfy too, weather permitting.I couldn't even run at first I had shitty old shoes that gave me blisters just from walking, I'd get winded after like 30 seconds, fat fuckin stomach sloshing around lolNow I love running, I run right through 200$ running shoes.
