Have you thought about enrolling in college for the first time? Is it dawning on you that you may have missed out on something?
>>83519889Nah. IF I needed to start over right now, I would go to a trade school for plumbing, electrical engineering or HVAC.
>>83519889>Is it dawning on you that you may have missed out on something? If you go to College as a 30+ year old and expect to have a social life you're going to be an outcast and a strange creepy figure.
>>83519909I think youre latching on too much to that one piece of information given in the thread
>>83519909Is it really worse to be an outcast or creepy character rather than a non-existent one at home?
>>83519928but he is right. seen that many times, people think yeah back to college life, now I will get the thots! while being fat and balding. If you didn't get pussy in college at 20, it's unlikely you will get it at 30.
I'm 30 and going back is pointless because I still have the same crippling anxiety disorders and psychosis that made me drop out when I was 19. I failed then and I would fail again today. I have not mentally developed since I was 14, I am still terrified to be in the presence of other people.
>>83520005this. i gave it a try 3 times before I gave up
>>83519889i can't believe i went to college and never attended a single party. i made no friends either. i was a recluse; it was entirely my fault kek. i didn't dorm, at least I have that excuse. also worked a job. was drained with work, vidya was my outlet.
I know it's not 100% realistic but watching college party movies is getting to me.
>>83519889I enrolled at 29 (week before my 30th birthday) and now I'm 32 and halfway finished with my degree, but currently taking an off year and just NEETing. I start again next August.>Is it dawning on you that you may have missed out on something?idk what this means, missing out on an education? or do you mean social "experiences"?
>>83519889I went to university and got a master's. I am thinking of returning and doing a PhD. I realised I love R&D and teach more than I love delivering shit and talking to clients.I'm love summer at work because kids turn up and I spent most of my time teaching and challenging them. I love interns, juniors and arguing theory with other seniors.
>>83520575i forgot to mention>>83519909>If you go to College as a 30+ year old and expect to have a social life you're going to be an outcast and a strange creepy figure.no one treats me this way or thinks this though, no one knows my age or has guessed correctly. I usually tell people I worked for a couple years before going back to school and they assume I'm more like 24~ because of that. Most grad students are pushing 30 years old. Completely normal.
>>83519889Im 30 enrolling in college in EU as an American because its basically free or way cheaperI probably wont be making friends with college kids though but will with others>>83519909I don't think so, in public university in the US i seen people as old as their 40s. I still look about 22 myself so i shouldn't stick out too much
I don't know what classes I'd take anyway. I don't know how people pick.
