Most artists up in to the 80s first learned they had an aptitude for music from playing in the church choir, and the ones that didn't were taught to by their parents who did. People stopped going to church, amount of people who had a respect for music dwindles, new generations have no one to teach and all grow up listening to corporate-produced and written rap.
