Is it normal to be friendless these days?
>>
>>83640651
If you are introverted and dont make friends at work or something its hard compared to being in school and having a large group of people your age
>>
>>83640651
Not really. Even if your circumstances are pretty bad, most neurotypicals can still make it out in today's world and find some friends somewhere. only mentally ill and especially autists are unable to find friends
>>

i wouldn't say its normal but i'd say its a lot more common than back in the day

I guess its really a mix of nerdy ass dudes having solitary / online activities and njust saying home a lot.

My local reddit is filled with posts like 23 year old into anime and video games looking to make friends! instead of just joining a rec league sports team or playing pool at a bar.

Zoomers look like that nowadays? Fuck dude, why do they age so badly compared to us?

I've been friendless since 2013 but I dont think its normal.

Not "normal" but much more normal.
When you go outside it's not like everybody is alone but there's much more people staying alone inside.
And yeah this was definitely caused by modern technology.

Before the internet and smart phones it just wasn't realistic to live the way people live now.
Sure there were solitary activities but it generally wasn't enough to fill up a person's life. People couldn't just sit there on their phones all day. Sure they could read or knit or something like that but yeah that gets old a lot faster. Just small pastimes.

Now even in public anywhere you go you expect half of the people to be sitting there on their phone just living in a bubble drowning out the world. Even after all the critical discourse surrounding this topic people's actions haven't changed very much.

>playing pool at a bar
I would like to but I would be going alone
Ah yes, I will play pool with myself
Maybe some neurotypical individual would notice me and try to be friendly, but after a little interaction realise something was off about me
My friends I made over the past few years have variously fallen away.
I am not well and idk why I even bother going to my job any more

I want both. My copium is that an advanced AI is going to bioprint them one day.

lol old people are actually retarded. whenever i see anything relating some negative to zoomers i always just think about some greasy old geezer who is pissy at another generation while he lived his young years like shit.
