Its a disaster for me. My supervisor told me on friday that the company I deliver for is getting their workload cut by 80% over the next month. I was already looking for a different line of more in-office professional work, but with the hiring environment as stagnant as it is, I expected any serious responses to be scarce, and they have been. But it was okay because at least I had my current job and its pays the bills. Now i dont know what I'll do. I have enough savings reserve to not immediately be at risk, but I'm just not special in any particular way and I just dont want to backslide into another dead end wageslave job There's no ins for anything to develop, either. No positions that train. I hope things get better. My great fear is that if nothing improves in the next three months, I'll get profoundly depressed and kill myself
