i think women get existential fear at the prospect of something constituting their life at any point in time. the very idea they have to wake up to the same mook every day for the rest of history is not something they enjoy or derive satisfaction from, and that includes friendships and the like. but there's always some women that thirst for certain guys in a way that is almost cartoonish that invalidates what i'm saying
