Then instead of adressing this argument you claim that the afterlife is unknowable. My point is that if you really believe that the afterlife is unknowable you need to be willing to accept plausible hypotheticals as well. Plausability is a good example of how logic can be useful even if our epistemology is completely off base.
I'm not refusing your interpretation, all I'm saying is that validity is not a substitute for completeness.

Even if reason is disconnected to reality, it's still an important structure of the mind. You were born with language, which implicitly acts out the stages of reason. You cannot strictly abandon it, and you will not. Accepting that reason is imperfect while still using it as a tool in its applicable domain is the only correct course of action.
