What do you do if you're having a conversation and they tell you they work as something boring like librarian, factory worker, retail, etc? I'm not judgemental but I don't know what to say:>Option A: be fake and say "wow that's cool!", which sounds condescending anyways>Option B: say "oh, okay" and that sounds kind of offensive like you don't care at all about their answer>Option C: say that sucks, obviously you can't say that>Option D: maybe go on some tangent about books/what they help make in factories/what they sell? This seems rather high difficulty as I have no knowledge about any of these professions. Either way it seems like if this comes up you're completely fucked.
>>83661558just ask how long theyve been doing it or if they enjoy it, noone cares what you say, its about showing interest
i look down on everyone who didn't follow their dreams, I don't give a fuck if they're a billionaire.the guys with jobs I see just look soulless and pissed off to me, like they always look and act angry and have a fucking frown on their face and they're not poor.
>>83661558the real answer is always to ask if they like it and what stands out to themhave you not made small talk before?
>>83661558You should call him a nigger and kick him in the nuts.
>>83661558All of those options are dumb. I'd ask how they like it then I'd ask questions regarding their work depending on their response, conversations are two way streets so it can be hard to think I'll say X, he says Y, I say Z.
