>LG >Samsung >TCL >Hisense Which one is the best TV brand and why?
>>83662338Whichever one is selling you the best TV for the lowest price at the time.
>>83662338Avoid Samsung, garbage hardware, common problems with poorly soldered panels cause the image to start "jumping" after more than 1h of usage a couple of years down the line. The only solution is to open the thing and fix it by soldering a wire somewhere back on.LG and Samsung in general both have common quality issues of this type.LG's webos is garbage as well.TCL panels are low quality but what you get for the price is really good, it doesn't particularly break more than anything else, and while it's often poorly calibrated out of the box, with proper color calibration the image typically comes out quite good. Their main issue is poor audio quality, but an audio bar fixes this easily and other TVs would also have poor audio anyway (just not AS bad). They also have firetv and google tv variants, which tend to get out of your way and can be easily setup to directly turn on and connect to an external connection without having to go through the long bootup sequence of (((smart))) TVs and all that crap.No experience with Hisense.
>>83662384Get a Hisense then
>saves you from the smart TV menace>while taking up 90% less spaceGet a projector anon. They're pretty good these days.
>>83662724Only works in a dark environment and you need to also get a suitable projection surface. However they're pretty good otherwise.
I got a 65" Hisense TV from Costco last year cause it was the best bang for my buck and it hasn't failed me thus far.
>>83662338TVs seem so overproduced. I see people throwing out TVs that are only a few years old and it seems like such a waste, or maybe they are so unreliable now. But I'm not buying new when there are so many used TVs out there. Or if I do, it will be Panasonic, because ours was made in 2007 and we still use it. 20 years is a good.
>>83663199>or maybe they are so unreliable now.Correct. Welcome to the new world.Panasonic TVs in 2026 are no better than chingchingu tv, inc, ltd. It's all bottom of the barrel trash, anything good was deemed illegal for the bad goyim who need to have surveillance shoved up their ass 24/7.
>>83662338>TCL >HisenseWould avoid these for being entirely Chinese and I don't want to sponsor China more than I'm forced to. Besides, China tends to engineer low-quality cheap garbage. >LG >Samsung Of these two, I'd go LG.But I wouldn't buy any of these, I'd probably go Sony because I've had a bunch of Sony stuff and it has been almost always very reliable. And I would not connect smartTVs to the internet because they all contain spyware.
>>83662820>Only works in a dark environmentno problem for me
>>83663261Oh. I was disappointed Sony and Panasonic outsource production now. I should have known.
Samsung is overrated and overpricedI ditched a samsung tv for a Hisense and it's way betterIt's also much nicer to have an android OS with my google account instead of the korean shit
>>83663290LG shit sucksSamsung is still shit but it's better than LG
>>83663566I just don't see the point of TVs anyway. I have a PC with a nice 1440p screen and a laptop with a nice 1600p screen. I usually just watch pirated stuff on my laptop in bed. I don't want a smart TV spying on me and I don't use streaming services because piracy is free and fast in my country.
