would you stop talking to a friend if they came across as too needy? would you keep talking to them if they developed a crush on you even though you only see them platonically?

is this aimed at men or women? only chad would deny a woman attracted to him
>>
>>83665322
Doubt they would be needier than me
>>
>>83665322
No
I would but I would kind of feel bad too

at men. I got ghosted by one, probably because I rushed things.

Does "needy" simply mean frequently enjoying company like talking and doing activities together? Or is it the classic anxioid "needy" that means "please constantly validate my every emotional reaction and insecurity all the time"?

>would you stop talking to a friend if they came across as too needy?
Yeah probably.
>would you keep talking to them if they developed a crush on you even though you only see them platonically?
If they respect my boundaries.

I'd establish clear boundaries and leave it at that. I need plentiful time to myself to recover and reset. Even outside that, my life itself goes beyond the people I encounter. If this supposed 'friend' did not validate and wholly accept my personal needs and boundaries even after we discuss it, then yes, I'd consider directly letting this person go. I've experienced more than my fair share of the kind of connections you describe, and frankly, they become rather toxic if left to fester. It is best for both parties to seek healthier attachments elsewhere.

I had too. I'm already in a relationship and I had to pretty much stop her in her tracks

a girl stopped talking to me because of that reason (i confessed my feelings for her), she reciprocated for a bit then decided it was nice to ghost me. worst feeling ever, women are awful human beings

he probably got anxious and worried because he immediately started thinking about his future responsibilities instead just being happy and in the moment
>>
>>83665322
if they are a friend, i would communicate to them that i need a bit of space. i dont think its good to maintain friendships with people who see you in a romantic way
