I was a teenager in 2000s right at the prime of that whole fashion trend I went to schools and shopping malls, movie theaters, shows, stores, carnivals, fairs, anime conventions, comic conventions, sporting events, different cities other towns etc frequently I went places and I NEVER actually saw a girl dressed up in the "Scene" style everybody romanticizes now in person only in online pictures on Myspace. And there were only two kids in my high school that even did the "emo" style in public which was just the skinny jeans studded belt and dyed black and red comb over hair due. Most people just dress casual everyday girls do this dress up shit only at home in their room
