>>83666400I just cooked borgore and fried egg on homemade buns. While fucked up on cheap beer
>>83666400to be honest that sounds like a lot of effort, not too long ago i just had the same pre cooked oven schnitzels on bread 3x a day for a few weeks

>>83666431>on outside of the meatWow! Outside!?
>>83666446That's the ideal lifestyle right there
>>83666431Ever tried kinders gold? That shit is amazing. Got a butcher box from my sister for Christmas, puny little steaks. Actually having steak, oven roasted broccoli and mash for dinner tonight. About to start it
>>83666400put water in ramen soup w/ one table spoon of salsa microwave for a 5 minsXD
>>83666464No, I don't know what that is. It might be good but I don't really like sauce on steak.
>>83666437Max depression is eating Chinese buffet every other day with nothing in between. While wasted

>>83666489Some homemade sourdough bread would take this over the top
>>83666400bread with peanut butter on itbread with honey on itwater
>>83666506oh, that looks a lot betterI usually don't season my steaks with anything but salt and pepper, but I might give that a try next time I'm in the states
>>83666400Tube steak? Smothered in underwear?
>>83666400Eat for a month on $10:6lbs of grits, 2lbs of cream of wheat equals one month of food. You're welcome.
>>83666604ok i got the grits and cream, now what do i do with them...
>>83666514It's not overly complex in flavor. It's salt pepper, black garlic and truffle seasoning
>buy a dried soup mix (lentils, peas, barley included etc) >pressure cooker it. 10 minutes at pressure.>add some butter and optionally salt.I call it goyslopa pressure cooker is pretty good, since you don't have to watch it and it cooks evenly.
>>83666653>black garlic>trufflepretty prime ingredients there
i want to show off my retard meals with you guys :DDDDDD SO LET'S START WITH A CLASSIC! SPAGHETTIIIIIII!!!! YAAAYYYYThis particular picrel spaghetti is literally just... spaghetti noodles (these ones r extra fibrous ones for better poops) cooked el dente, with an improvised sauce that is better known as Heinz Ketchup with maybe like some pepper and a few lettuce scrapes thrown on top so I can still pretend I'm being healthy!
OP you might love me for this but the meal up next is microwaved potato! I hadn't ever considered to do sweet potatoes so I just used regular potatoes but there's one problem with your recipe.STAB YOUR POTATO WITH A FORK BEFORE YOU PUT IT IN THE MICROWAVE! Or else it might explode and that'd suck. Make SURE it has holes for the moisture in the potato to exit through.Anyways after the potato is microwaved, I just cut it open, put some butter on it if I have some, and then just put whatever spices you like on there like idk I like cayenne pepper, paprika, black pepper. That's all you really need to make it a really good meal. It's genuinely surprisingly good. Highly recommend.
Ground beef and rice is pretty much godly
>>83666400my go-to depression meal:>mash up a can of black beans>slop some onto a tortilla>add cheese and hot sauce>microwave (optional)
Next up is some yummy unleavened flatbread! It's SUPER simple to make, it's basically just fried dough if that makes sense? The way I made this is really fucking scuffed cuz I forgot I own a mixing bowl and I didn't have anything to measure anything so I just did like a tiny pinch of salt (salt crystals are tiny so pinch with fewer fingers so you grab fewer of them!) and then a slightly bigger pinch of sugar (sugar crystals are bigger so if you use the same pinch you'd grab much less sugar, and you're supposed to put more sugar than salt in to make the dough), and then I filled like uhh half~2/3rd of a cereal bowl with flour, and from here it's actually kinda free-form cuz you can add water or milk (or both of you wanna be crazy) and you could add some shredded cheese or smth to make it interesting, then you just mix it up to make the dough. Adjust by adding flour if it's too sticky until you can put it on a cooking board or smth to flatten it out and shape them into your flatbreads. I...honestly didn't do that cuz I didn't have a board or anything so I literally just grabbed some dough and squeezed and pulled them in the air into a rough shape that I deemed "good enough" to put on the frying pan (i didn't use a lot of heat but idk how much this shit matters cuz you only gotta fry it for like a few minutes? maybe 5? maybe 10? depends idfk just check if it's looking brownish/goldish) and I used my spatula to flatten it a bit more once it was on thereAdditionally I highly recommend making a lil makeshift dip! It's super simple. Just put some olive oil in a tiny bowl and then add whatever fucking herbs you have in there and I also added a bit of sugar to it so it has a nice sweetness to it. Then enjoy your yummy flatbread! Literally all you REALLY need to make this is salt, sugar, and flour for the flatbread (but it's nicer with some butter too) and olive oil, a bit of sugar, and whatever herbs you like. This recipe is extremely customizable.
Last and definitely least: water soup.I don't have much to say. It's basically just cooking water, adding a bouillon, then noticing I don't have anything to put in the fucking soup and just adding whatever herbs I saw I had instead. It's just salty water with some herbs. At least it filled my stomach with something though.
>>83667010>unleavened breadthey're trying to convert you into a jew OP, don't fall for it!
>>83666935that's a lot of seasoning desu.>>83667010flatbread is nice, but a pain in the ass to roll.i don't think i could get it nice and thin without rolling it...
>>83666717So free steaks, Christmas gift from oldest sister, oven roasted garlic and mash potatoes
>>83666935Tiny bit more effort, look up salt brine potatoes. Outside is crispy and inside is perfect
>>83667087That steak looks a little overcooked anon
>>83666400Shut-in reporting for duty>Stouffers chicken pesto rigotini>Stouffers chicken fettucini alfredo>Stouffers fish and mac and cheese>Red baron cheese pizza (you cook it for 18 minutes at 400f to brown the cheese)I cycle through those, but it's getting too expensive, I'm going to have to move to just a gallon of milk with a pound of potatoes a day pretty soon.
>>83667108Being as they're gifts, I'm not complaining, but they are INCREDIBLY small and low quality (Omaha steaks). Cooking all 4 simultaneously without burning was tough.
>>83667120Have you considered buying a family size, portion them out and eating as you go?
>>83667143Yeah, when I get steak for myself I almost always get ribeye. I would eat a small steak like that but I wouldn't really like it. I'll never understand how filet mignon became the "fancy" steak - it's kind shitty.
>>83667146>Have you considered buying a family size, portion them out and eating as you go?Never thought of it to be honest, the only truly family sized portion I've seen anyways is mac and cheese, worth looking into though, thanks.
>>83667157I USED to get chuck eye steaks, but those are damn near the cost of a ribeye. The only beef on this next shopping trip are some beef shanks for a soup
>>83667169You get more variety out of the single serve, but they get expensive. It's almost the equivalent of buy 3, get 1 free
>>83667173Surely the price of food has to go down eventually, right? If it stays this high no one will buy it and the producers will lose money
>>83667207they stop selling the product at your stores and replace it with gruel and bugs
>>83667207Producers already lose money due to the monopoly of the meat packing/ processing company's.
