Going back to college as a 29 year old NEET is pure humiliation. >math problem talking about phone bills>turn to your neighbor and tell them how much you pay >i-i'm still on my parents plan>math proffesor says we should know how to do this problem because they should have taught it just last summer>professor assumes nobody in the class owns a house, knows what a mortgage is, knows what a landline is ect ect. >history professor talks about how these women just a little younger than you were working 12 hour days in mills>professor is probably around my age>only solace is that we both ended up spending our time in a dingy community college classroom. People lied to me. They said nobody would care. They even said community colleges are full of old people.
>>83666550there definitely should be at least one 25+ college per region, i've faced this humiliation too and felt so cringe i dropped out
>>83666550yeah id rather just stay a NEET lol
>>83666560Honestly, college shouldn't even accept anyone under the age of 22. The vast majority of 18-22 year olds are not mature enough to go to college. This is why I dropped out the first time. Now if I drop out again its just because of how humiliating it is. Luckily there is another 30 year old in one of my classes.
>>83666550>>83666560I went for a year of CC when I was 34 and I hooked up with a freshmen. This is entirely in your head. College girls LOVE older guys, even moreso than university girls since there's no frats and if you went to a CC over a uni, you're probably dumb as fuck. I was older than my government teacher and I was the one teaching him about events that happened before his time. I had multiple women in class drooling over me just from nerd-mogging him.
I'm 32 and I just finished an associate's degree at community college and idk wtf you are talking about. There were balding 20 year olds that I first thought were older, but they were not.
>>83666586Except it sounds like you have confidence. I'm a NEET. No girl is going to get wet when I tell them about how i'm 29, live with my parents and spent the last 5 years shitposting on 4chan.
>>83667123No one is going to ask your age or give a shit, you're just another college student, you might drop the class, your peers might drop the class, you'll be with an entirely different group the next semester, literally NO ONE cares about you or what you're doing
>>83666550>phone bills>they should have taught it just last summerCollege classes don't coordinate with each other this closely. This is worse than expecting students to remember how to complete the square.
>>83666550literally no one cares unless you go to a party college. i graduated from state uni at 37 years old, i made a few class friends, but otherwise never spoke to them. it made it easy to get nearly straight As
>>83666579>Honestly, college shouldn't even accept anyone under the age of 22.wtf are you talking about... community college is just 13th and 14th grade and american education is already at a snail's pace compared to smarter countries
>>83666550When I was 16-18 I took classes at a community college, I did not give a single shit or pay any mind to the fact some people were older. The embarrassment you feel is coming from yourself.
>>83666550i went back to school in my mid 20s and it wasn't that fucked mani think you are so wound up in your own head about this shitjust do your course work and maybe make some friends, you will meet more interesting people after the first couple of years
